Ready to Run for Europia?

Established in 2008, Europia empowers Central and Eastern European migrants to navigate their lives in the UK confidently, whilst preserving and celebrating their unique cultural identities.

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, a significant portion of Europia’s work has been focused on assisting displaced Ukrainians in Greater Manchester. This includes providing legal advice, immigration support, translation and interpreting services, and community wellbeing activities. Our staff and volunteers, including Ukrainian team members with experience of displacement, ensure that people have somewhere to turn for accessible advice, and free opportunities to connect with others and build their community in Manchester.

As time passes, public attention inevitably shifts to other global crises, and funding is often redirected towards more recent causes. However, Ukrainians still need our help. With the continuing conflict back home and ever-changing government guidance in the UK, it’s critical that Europia’s services remain available and accessible.

Manchester Half Marathon 2026

Manchester Half Marathon 2026 will take place on Sunday 4th October. It’s the biggest half marathon event in the region, welcoming over 28,000 runners last year. With a fast, flat course and incredible crowd support throughout, it’s a great race to chase a PB!

London Marathon 2027

London Marathon 2027 is one of the Abbott World Major Marathons, so you’ll follow an iconic route, ticking off plenty of landmarks. It is the world’s largest annual one-day fundraising event, with last year’s runners raising £87.3 million.

Manchester Marathon 2027

Manchester Marathon is the UK’s second largest marathon, known for its flat course. With 42,000 runners signed up for this year’s event, it’s one of the most in-demand races. Secure your place for 2027 and pledge to make a difference!
