How long it takes to access our services:

Booking an interpreting session: book at least 3 days in advance – depending on the length of the document

Translations & Review: Usually within 7 working days – depending on the length of the document. Urgent translation upon request – we aim to deliver within 48 hours

ECHO: Roma Awareness Training for Services

As part of ECHO’s services, we offer comprehensive, culturally appropriate training on the European Roma community. This training is designed for services that engage with and support Roma clients.

Each session includes the following core topics, and additional content can be tailored to meet specific needs:

History: The migration from India, years of slavery, and the forgotten Holocaust, alongside the story of resilience and hope.
Culture & Tradition: Family dynamics, traditions, education, food, music, and arts within Roma communities.
Welfare: Understanding community needs and rights, including access to justice, housing, healthcare, and immigration.
Working with the Community: Practical advice and tips for engaging with Roma communities.

Participants have described the training as “especially useful and engaging, with tons of great info I never knew before.”
