Brexit and Immigration

Europia is registered (OISC Registration No. N202000121) to offer immigration advice for EU nationals in Greater Manchester. We can help you with a range of immigration topics, including EUSS, which we have a dedicated page for here. We have a team of experienced advisors that can help you – we are also able to arrange interpreters if needed.

You can read about how Brexit has impacted Roma communities specifically, and how Europia plans to address these issues, through this case study.

EU Citizens in Greater Manchester Support Group

Europia is helping to launch a social group for all EU nationals. In the wake of the Brexit Referendum many EU nationals have had to rethink what it means to be an EU citizen living in the UK. EU nationals have had to go through the process of applying for settled status and/or citizenship with all the stresses, frustrations and costs that entails. As a response, Europia are helping to create a new space for EU nationals in Greater Manchester to:
– Meet others in similar situations and make friends
– Discuss their experiences and support one another
– Share useful information
– Have fun!

We will be updating our website, Facebook and Twitter with details of the first meet.

EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS)

All EU, EEA and EFTA citizens and their families living in the UK will need to confirm their immigration status by 30 June 2021, if they wish to continue living and working in the UK. If you do not apply, you lose the right to work in the UK, use the NHS for free, enrol in education and access benefits.

You can find translated information booklets and additional support on our EUSS page here
