Europia continues to work with the latest Coronavirus – COVID-19 guidance and advice released by the Government and Local Authorities. Europia is continuing to carry out all meetings and support services online and on the telephone. The team is working from home to ensure access to all of our services.
Free wellbeing support and workshops, EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) assistance over the phone, on Zoom or via email, and Emergency Fund support. Europia offers an Emergency Fund for vulnerable EU nationals living across Greater Manchester to apply for a grant of £30-60 to help buy essential supplies, such as food and medicine, during the COVID-19 Pandemic. You can find more information on our specific Emergency Fund page here.

Europia is also launching a new ‘Phone A Friend’ service for vulnerable EU nationals across Greater Manchester. This is aimed to combat loneliness and isolation during COVID-19 with a welcoming, friendly voice and a listening ear on the end of the telephone. The service will be run in a culturally appropriate manner and in a number of EU languages including Polish, Romanian and English.
