Europia has been working in partnership with Answer Cancer to launch our new Cancer Champions project. We aim to raise awareness about cancer amongst European Nationals in Greater Manchester through training volunteers from the Polish and Lithuanian and Roma communities so that they can become cancer champions and help spread awareness about cancer in these community groups.
This training will provide information about cancer delivered in different languages, and increase knowledge about screenings and other procedures that can help prevent or identify cancer earlier.
If you are Polish, Lithuanian or Roma and would like to share your experiences, or receive free specialist training to become a cancer champion, please Email: firstname.lastname@example.org or Telephone: 0161 541 2686
