Europia has a number of workshops that we run for the Polish community in Manchester, including women’s workshops, health sessions and family activities. We also offer health and wellbeing sessions as part of our Polish Community Champions project, see more here.
Bajcoterapia – Polish Family Workshops for Wythenshawe Residents
Europia held a series of workshops for the Polish community in Wythenshawe, funded by Bajcoterapia, which can be described as “fairytale therapy”, using fairytales to provide an approach to emotions and relationships for all ages.
We have also carried out a survey to ask Polish Wythenshawe residents what they would like to see as part of future workshops.

Answer Cancer
Europia has been working in partnership with Answer Cancer to launch our new Cancer Champions project. We aim to raise awareness about cancer amongst European Nationals in Greater Manchester through training volunteers from the Polish and Lithuanian and Roma communities so that they can become cancer champions and help spread awareness about cancer in these community groups.
This training will provide information about cancer delivered in different languages, and increase knowledge about screenings and other procedures that can help prevent or identify cancer earlier.
