Our history

Europia is a (registered charity No 1161453) community development organization focusing on the development and integration of East and Central European Migrants (Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Bulgaria & Slovenia).

Europia has been an constituted group since 2011 and our main working areas are Salford, Tameside, Manchester including Wythenshawe, Stockport and Oldham.  Our projects include ESOL classes, Advice and guidance, Women’s drop-in, Advice drop in, Mum and Children sessions, training for the Eastern European Community, wellbeing projects, help with employability and our most popular family and community events.

East and Central European Migrants are known to be private and usually socialize amongst themselves.  Through our creative work and projects we aim to act as a bridge between the local organizations and statutory bodies. We have successfully recruited IAG panel member for the Salford Police, Conducted research in partnership with Salford CCG (Salford Health matters),Salford University, Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester University. Our main aim is to enable our community members to feel a sense of pride and belonging through their journey of accessing a full British life
